Day Fourty Four
The sun was beating into our tent by 6.30 am. Time to get up and pack. Most of the campers were rising at the same time with most of them packing up. We have never been to a camp ground with people up so early. We were packed up and sweating by 8.00 and on the road.
Not much to say about the trip across South Dakota. Hot, straight, cows, grain farms, some horses. We crossed the Missouri River and took a break there. Windy and hot! We crossed into Minnesota and we were into trees and corn fields, soy beans and properus looking farms. Kept driving until our final destination of Minneapolis. Very much a business day, driving over 800 kms.
Driving in South Dakota can present unexpected dangers.
