Winter Family Travels in 2005: Day Fourty Six

Our first full day in Chicago. We walked to the visitor centre to get oriented and pick up transit passes. The girls headed off to the American Girls store (which Stewart skipped). After a quick lunch, we walked over to Millenium Park and then down to along the waterfront to the Aquarium. The Aquarium is 75 years old and is a really nice building (been modernized). One of the fish that is there (grandpa lungfish) they aquired two years after opening. Brenna was asked to assist at the Dolphin show and she instructed the dolphins to talk, play ball, and jump. We concluded the day at an excellent fondue restaurant where we had a slow and delicious meal.
