Day Thirty Three

We were on the road to the USA by 8.30 am. We stopped in Gastlegar and finally mailed a few postcards. Margot was able to contact the reastaurant in Chilliwa and gave the whole sad sob story about the sweater. Hopefully the nice girl on the phone will follow through and the sweater will arrive home before we do. So far we have lost 2 sweaters, 1 waterbottle, 1 pocket knife, if we get this one back that will be great.

We crossed into Idaho and had to turn in our two oranges, but no other issues. We couldn't make it all the way to Glacier so we stopped at the Kooteni National Forest Yaak River campground just in Montana. It had all the things that we were used to, fast moving water beside us and a train track close by. The girls were able to have a swim in the Yaak before it joined the Kooteni River. We discovered on the paths behind our site tow ant hills, both at least 18inches to 24 inches in hight and diameter. We did not disturb them. Just as we were falling asleep two screech type owls starting communicating to each other for most of the night.
