Day Thirty Two
Left our hotel at about 10.00 am. We needed to buy those wonderful B.C. blueberries and raspberries and groceries for our next few days. We finally left beautiful Vancouver at about 11.00 and in time to have lunch in Chilliwak. We ended up leaving one of Kaitlin's favorite Gap sweater with our compass and the special fire rock in the pocket. We travelled east and into the Okanagan valley. We wanted to try and stay at Haynes Pt Provincial Park at the south end of the Okanagan. What we didn't realize is that this area is now a wine growing and resort town area. The park was totally booked. So we continued our quest and back into lodge pole and pondersa pine forests to a nice little camp ground called Kettle Creek. We discovered to our horror about the missing sweater just before supper.

Apparently, the wine growers are into Astronomy. Each of these houses has a small observatory.
